Paint protection film. in Prosper, TX

Rocks. Roost. Gravel. Stopped.

What is paint protection film?

A clear, tough urethane film we apply over your car’s paint. When a rock, gravel or a careless shopping cart hits your car, the film takes the damage instead of your paint.

You can barely see it. Your car just keeps looking new. It’s the best way to stop rock chips on the front of a car, and it’s made to be removed someday without hurting your paint.

Why people get PPF.

Five reasons, in plain English.

Stops rock chips

Highways and gravel chip paint. The film takes the hit, so your hood and bumper stay clean.

Fights scratches

Light scratches and swirl marks in the film’s top coat fade away with heat from the sun or warm water.

Looks invisible

It’s clear. You see your paint, not the film.

Easier to keep clean

Water and dirt slide off the slick surface. Bugs and road tar wash off easier.

Helps resale value

Chip-free original paint is worth more when you sell.

Scuffed. Protected.

How much of the car should I cover?

More coverage protects more paint. Start with where rocks actually hit: the front.

Aftercare, simply
  • Wait about 2 days before the first wash. The film needs time to bond.
  • Hand wash with a soft mitt when you can. Keep a pressure washer away from the film’s edges.
  • A slight haze or tiny water pockets can show at first. They clear up on their own.

Our process

How we protect.

  1. 1

A clay bar leaves the paint glass-smooth so the film bonds.

  4. 4

    Cut & plot

Film is cut by machine to your exact panels, never on your paint.

  5. 5

    Install

The film is applied panel by panel and squeegeed down.

  6. 6

    Quality check

Every edge is checked before you drive away.

Questions.

How much does PPF cost?
It depends on your car and how much of it you cover. Get your price in about a minute.
Is PPF worth it?
Yes, if you actually drive your car. Rock chips are the most common way paint gets damaged, and PPF stops them. It also helps your car sell for more.
Which level should I pick?

Essential covers the most-hit spots. Most popular covers the whole front end and is what most customers choose. Premium covers every painted panel.

If you’re not sure, start with Most popular.

Can people see it?
Hardly. It’s clear, so you see your paint. Up close, in the right light, you can see the edges if you look for them.
Will it damage my paint when it comes off?
Not on factory paint. Properly installed film peels off cleanly. If your car has been repainted, tell us so we can plan around it.
What’s the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?
PPF is a physical layer that stops rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating is a liquid layer that adds gloss and makes washing easier. They do different jobs, and many customers get both.
Does it turn yellow?
Quality urethane film like ours is made to stay clear. It’s backed by its manufacturer.
How long does it take?
Partial and full front usually take about a day. A full-body install takes a few days. We tell you exactly when to pick it up.
When can I wash my car?
Wait about 2 days after pickup. We’ll go over care with you.
